In the face of surveillance and phishing, to a long list of physical, psychological and physical threats and blackmails, to the possibility of pushing ransoms, innovations of bullying, and your love of lies and fabrications aimed at distorting, misleading and breaking wills, to all of this and in front of it, the breach of digital security remains one of the distractions that has taken place and drags societies towards serious risks of severe moral, material and legal losses since the invention of the “internet” in 1969.
The occasion of the diagnosis, the annual World Internet Day, which is celebrated on February 11th under a banner (together towards better internet use). Recalling the ethical quality of Internet use is closely linked to the security concept at the individual, institutional, but also state levels, and we have a fresh sample of the major breach in the United States of America several weeks ago of its electronic systems, some of which are directly related to its national security.
In any case, I do not want to go into digital details and their nuances, because I do not know them at all, but I will address the subject from a structural point of view related to the disasters caused by its poor use and the resulting crimes.
The operational value of the Internet is not even small considering that it is by far the best and fastest way to obtain a broad balance of scientific, human, economic and social knowledge, to seek jobs, to conduct transactions, to share and increase information, to help win friends, and the funny thing here is that many people use the phrase “my friend on the Internet”, including public figures.
In all this and others, the Internet has contributed to correcting more mistakes, failures and setbacks, but in turn it has directly contributed to perpetuating misinformation, distortion of facts, the practice of misconduct and (unfairly whitewashing) bad hearings, a situation that has led to ambushes that have claimed the rights of many.
digital security risk
The world, therefore, is under great risk pressure that some may not be able to escape when it is subject to temptation and attraction, and to go too far in compliance, where personal assets are leaked to others by programmed robberies that they can defame, if not blackmail, which is common now.
There are mafias, hotbeds, gangs and people who find on the Internet the easiest way to pass their evil plans, so falling under the threat of bad use of the Internet remains the most prominent title of problems, complex crimes, the ignition of rivalries, even wars and feeding dark ideas to encourage suicide, murder, absenteeism, theft and illegal containment, hence we have to trade between ways in the safe use of the Internet.
Alerting, advising, pointing out risks and imposing withholding fines are naïve means that are not deterred from falling into the taboo if there are no precise mechanisms for serious electronic inspection, and the use of decisive means of response based in advance on prior prevention in which surveillance procedures are rooted.
Field research studies have found that most of the victims of the Internet are minor children and girls whose affairs and rights have not been properly covered by the family system. Investigations have shown that forced and reprimanded are not effective solutions; they adopt repressive punishment, while the situation requires decisive educational action based on inspection, study and the cutting off of the road with care based on love and solidarity.
The world is now in digital trouble, so it is permissible to diagnose, so allocating one annual day to remind them of its dangers is only a procedural luxury, especially in the Middle East, which is mired in many political, criminal and economic crimes, for which the perpetrators use the Internet as a means, despite the lack of users compared to other regions.
Our region urgently needs an already serious electronic clinical examination held by digital security.
